Questions
Is hotel transfer included in the price?
Yes. Round-trip transfer from your hotel by air-conditioned vehicle is included in the price in every pickup area we serve, in all four regions. If your hotel is outside those areas, message us before booking and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you.
How much does a Turkish hamam cost?
€20 per adult in Side and Alanya, €25 in Belek and Antalya. Children aged 4–10 pay half, and under-3s are free. That is the whole price of the programme, transfer included.
Is a massage included?
Yes — a relaxing oil and aroma massage is part of the programme, along with the kese scrub and the foam wash. Longer massages and upgraded packages exist and are chosen and paid at the hamam.
Is the kese scrub included?
Yes. The kese body scrub and the foam wash are both part of the basic programme in every region. They are the two things that make a Turkish bath a Turkish bath.
Are drinks included?
No. Drinks, herbal teas and refreshments are not included and are bought at the hamam. We would rather say so here than let you find out at the desk.
How long does it take?
About 2.5 to 3 hours in total, hotel transfers included. That includes the drive there and back.
What should I wear?
Your own swimwear, worn throughout — guests are never naked. Bring a change of underwear and a hairbrush too. The peştemal wrap, the towel and the slippers are given to you.
What time will you collect me?
It depends on your hotel and on the session, and we confirm it with you before the day. We deliberately do not print a pickup time on this site, because a time that is wrong is worse than no time at all.
Can I go if I am pregnant?
We do not recommend the hamam during pregnancy. The same applies to guests with heart or circulatory conditions. If heat or humidity affects you, or you are under medical care, speak to your doctor first and tell the hamam before your session.
Can children come?
Yes, with a parent. Children aged 4–10 pay half price and under-3s are free. The massage stages are designed for adults, so tell us the ages when you book and the hamam sets the session up appropriately.
Do men and women go together?
Traditional hamams have separate sections, and a same-gender attendant can be requested — tell us when you book and we will pass the request to the hamam.
Do I pay online?
No. Nothing is charged when you reserve and we do not ask for card details. You pay at the hamam on the day.
Can I cancel?
Yes — free of charge up to 24 hours before your session. Tell us as early as you can and someone else gets the slot.
Where do I leave my things?
Changing facilities are provided for your belongings. Bring as little as you can, as you would to a pool.
What is the difference between a hamam and a sauna?
A sauna is hot and dry. A hamam is warm, wet marble, and it includes someone washing and scrubbing you — the kese and the foam. A sauna is a room; a hamam is a sequence.
Should I eat before?
Eat lightly, and do not drink alcohol beforehand. Heat on a full stomach is uncomfortable, and heat on alcohol is a bad idea.
Which day of my holiday is best?
Any day of your stay — the programme and the price are the same on every one. The only practical difference is availability: online bookings start from tomorrow, and the calendar shows the days we can still confirm, so choosing early leaves you more of them.
Is tipping expected?
It is customary and entirely optional, and it is not included in the price. Nobody will ask you for it.
